Fitting someone for medical compression stockings is a process that involves taking careful measurements of the legs to ensure a proper fit. Medical compression stockings are specially designed garments that apply graduated pressure to the legs, which helps improve blood flow and reduce the risk of various medical conditions, such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), varicose veins, and lymphedema.

The fitter will take precise measurements of the individual's legs, such as the ankle, calf circumference, as well as the length of the leg to the knee, and shoe size. These measurements help determine the correct size and compression level of the stockings.

The fitter may also take note of any specific needs or preferences the individual has, such as the color or style of the stockings.

Overall, fitting someone for medical compression stockings is a precise process that requires expertise and attention to detail. The goal is to provide the individual with a comfortable and effective garment that supports their health and well-being.

Fitting custom orthotics is a specialized process that involves taking precise measurements and creating custom-made shoe inserts designed to support and improve the function of the feet and lower body. Orthotics are often prescribed to address a range of conditions, including but not limited to plantar fasciitis, low back/ hip/ knee/ ankle pain.

The healthcare professional will perform a brief history, provide a gait assessment, and utilize a FootMaxx 3D scan of your feet which takes precise measurements of the feet, including the length, width, countours, pressure points, arch height, as well as the angle of the ankle and other key landmarks. This information is used to create a three-dimensional mold of the foot, which is used to manufacture the custom orthotics.

The custom orthotics are then manufactured using advanced materials and techniques, and are designed to fit the individual's feet and address any specific biomechanical issues or imbalances. The orthotics are often made from materials such as foam, carbon fiber, or thermoplastics, and can be modified or adjusted as needed to ensure a proper fit and function.

Overall, fitting custom orthotics is a precise and personalized process that requires expertise and attention to detail. The goal is to provide the individual with a comfortable and effective device that supports their feet and lower body, and improves their overall health and well-being.

Dr. Mario has been a passionate Windsorite for as long as he can remember. Frankly, as Windsorite as you can get without having the privilege of being born here. But as you get to know him that’s something you’ll find at the core of Dr. Mario’s DNA: passion and dedication.

Raised in South Windsor, his fondest memories are playing street hockey with the neighborhood kids, tennis at Central Park, left wing forward for the FC Nationals, and any sport he could get his hands on at Hon. W. C. Kennedy Collegiate Institute. These days he primarily focuses on cycling, tennis and golf—but enjoys anything requiring movement.

Dr. Mario is a proud Alumnus of the Human Kinetics Movement Science program at the University of Windsor. It was because of his love of sports and persistent array of injuries that he first decided to attend the HK program—and it was thanks to HK and the UofW Co-Op program that he found his passion and calling for chiropractic care. With careful research into curriculum and philosophies, Dr. Mario decided to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in St. Louis Missouri. Something he will now tell you was one of the best decisions of his life. The core of Dr. Mario’s care is simple: he takes the time needed to understand and treat your ailments, ensuring that he not only remedies the issue, but that he brings alignment and a feeling of well-being back to your general daily function and movement.

Hi I’m Angela Zita Kuhlmann

I grew up with a passion for horses. I worked with thoroughbred race horses for over 15 years, working in breeding, genetics, endurance training and rehabilitation.

In 2019 I became Certified in Equine (horse) Massage Therapy, and since have been working with horses to help them feel their best, both in competition and during their down time. I have found best results with these athletes by offering massage therapy, strength training and PEMF sessions in combination.

During this time I saw first hand many musculoskeletal injuries. This piqued my interest in relation to horse and rider biomechanics, as well strength training and a postural correction approach to increase best results for performance.

My interest lead me to pursue and obtain my Registered Massage Therapy License so I can expand my services to help more athletes.

I am currently offering Registered Massage Therapy, Certified Equine Massage Therapy, and Canine Massage.

Extra modalities I am certified in that can be included for no additional cost in treatment sessions are Cupping, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.

My approach to health and wellness is to treat the musculoskeletal pain and imbalances to bring optimum posture and bodily function.

Thus helping you reach your individual goals!
